Can foreigners buy property at auction in Korea?

Yes. Foreign nationals can acquire most Korean real estate, including through court auctions. A few zones need prior reporting or a permit, which we check before you bid. See the eligibility guide →

Do I need to live in Korea or speak Korean to buy?

No. You don't need residency, a visa or Korean-language ability, and you don't need to be present to bid, we bid on your behalf under a mandate you approve.

Is buying Korean property at auction safe?

Auctions carry risk, but Korean rights analysis (권리분석) and a hard maximum bid set before you commit are designed to manage it. We run this analysis on every lot before any deposit.
